Apologies the photo's above were actually taken on a Fuji Finepix S5700. A detail which I have now amended in the post... thanks for correcting me Kate :)
These are very small optimised images for the web, the Full sized ones are stunning and filled with detail too.

Thank you for the wonderful Comments Kate, I'll be more than happy to supply you with a print of the two Egrets.
We live by Mousehole in Paul Penzance and travel up to the Helford as often as my health allows, I don't think I've found a more special place in Cornwall in the 15 years I've lived here.
Many many thanks again for the comments its always good to know my images are appreciated.
Thank you

Hi - stumbled across this wonderful blog - we saw you on the water that day from our house here at Bishops Quay. We watched you hugging the shoreline by the beach opposite us where the curlew sit. Sorry to hear about your accidents but all the pain and trouble was worth it for the amazing photos you took of our wildlife - I have never seen such clear and beautiful photos. I live here all the time and have taken many gorgeous outdoor shots of the different and wonderful views but have no luck getting up close and personal with the wildlife. However I did get a kingfisher once, by mistake when photographing one of our boats, it was on the bow. I would love a copy of the pair of egrets sometime, somehow. What a collection - a great day's work , well done you. All the Best from Kate Kirby
